Vehicle Body Builder - $1900 - 4 day week

We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Body Builder / Fabricator to join a well established Australian manufacturing business that has been operating successfully for over 150 years.

What you’ll be doing

• Vehicle body building and assembly work
• Fabrication of structural and light steel components
• Welding aluminium and stainless steel using MIG and TIG
• Reading and interpreting workshop and engineering drawings
• Installing vehicle components including locks, hinges, handles and internal fittings
• Using hand and power tools for cutting, shaping, welding and assembly
• Working with the team to deliver high quality builds on schedule

What we’re looking for

• Vehicle Body Builder trade qualification or relevant fabrication experience
• Previous vehicle assembly experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Reliable, punctual and team focused attitude
